It was your beauty that mesmerized me
And your eyes, they hypnotized me
So though, your presence evanesced

Whilst the tender embrace of your whole
Keyed love symphonies to my soul
The baritone range of your voice
The poetic splendor of your poise
The sweet nectar of your kiss
And, so much more, I truly miss
I’d neither cage you nor enrage you
Though I’d love to hear you sing
So choose time signatures and I’ll place bar lines
And, even sooth the rhythm of your wings.
