CLOSURE

There is a lounge in my life that opens only for you

A secret chamber of emotions, activated solely by your touch

You've carved a door to my heart, 
Locked it and walked away with the key

I am yet to understand why you turned away from me

Thoughts of you make me cry

Those showers of tears drench my soul,

As the mileage of this separation’s distance unfold

It’s so silent without you, I feel so alone

To your friendship there is no auxiliary

Your company, has no clone

Your overall absence makes light look so dim

Without your serene presence, life, just seems so grim

I miss you, I miss you, I miss you its true

I once planned to spend my forevers with you

But you’ve spent your while and left my love awoken

Would I ever move on, when my heart’s no longer open

I did all that I could, yes even gave you my best

And now you’ve just walked away quietly

And left me here in distress

If you but owe anything- it’s an explanation

And the keys to this heart you have carelessly broken.
