A NOTE TO LOVE

Can love revisit this lonely heart
Bearing a diamond ring?
Can love embrace these tired eyes
And soothe this wrinkled skin?
Can love warm away this arthritis
 and bring joy to my soul?
Can love resurrect my husband
For me to have and hold?
Can love pitch those high notes
That he once sang for me?
Can love replay those moans
and groans of bedroom symphony?
Can love demand my cooking
Or accompany me everywhere I go?
Can love,love me just one more time
With this type of love I know?
