IMPORTANCE DEGREE CELSIUS

Thirty-seven degree celsius
is the body temperature of man
cell,tissue,organ, system
all embodied, is God's plan.
But the mentality of a people
towards the fortunate,you see,
Takes a man as a man,
then redefines who he should be
When an 8 X 10 boxboard house
with no food in the cupboard,
Hosts a man without voice
cradles a man undiscovered,
By the thermometer of importance,
An unfair measuring device
Which by material heat
chooses to fall or to rise
Bank account-figure, occupation
appearance,acquaintance,house and car
Can push the mercury to 100
Or pull it,way below the bar
The bar of status,the bar of success,
The bar of- who knows who
The bar of law and order
And what you can and cannot do
These twisted class measures,
for the man with the money,
Keeps turning up the heat
Then plummets to devalue,
the noble poor man on the street
