what I see is pure disdain
if those jewels were another
colour
you dare not
treat them the same

but it's not too common
in your genealogy
to cherish rare beauty
so you act like they are
confetti
All that dashiki you wearing
with your prominent afro-head
and treat black gold like pebbles
stuff to trample on
and tread?
