PRECISELY WHITE
in the palm of your hands
with more precision
than a surgeon
and I feel
the warmth of your pale
flawless white skin
through each vein
It is the way you hold
my hands so tightly
leaving,no room for
insecurity
That assures me
that
not even air
can separate this grip
I know
that if I need you
at midnight
You will ride
for miles,
And if your bicycle
gets a flat
You will walk the rest
to be there
at my side
You lend support
To those who I support
And you speak well of me
So those who love you
Love me
And those who respect you
Respect me
You bring no shame
You cause no pain
The first spoon of food
in your bowl is mine
And so too
Is every minute of your time
The way
you taste my afro,
Each strand of hair
In your own freaky way
you show you care
Jealous dark eyes
Loathe this affection
As much as I loathe
ebon feet
that can never fill your shoes

ABSOLUTES
there are waves
called truths
Truths
which embrace shores
To meet with rivers,
To take reports
directly from their mouths
Then losing motion
Transport relativity
to places
of contradiction
Defying resolutions
On its return to ocean

WHITE SUPREMACY

REAL MAN
His skin was pale
His eyes were green
His hair was blonde
The first real man
I've ever seen
I met a real man once
His heart was pure
His love was real
His words were true
So much appeal
So empowered
That's how he made me feel
He was
So courteous
So caring
So honest
So frank
So strong
So repentant
When wrong...
And he was
So smart
So loving
God-fearing
So friendly
So understanding
So wise
A good fighter
An excellent surrender
I met a real man once
And often I wonder
If there are other real men
in different shades...
TWO CUPS OF COFFEE!
Two cups of coffee
And you give me your heart
already
As if
you even know me
I think
that’s crazy, baby
Baby
That you dream about ties
to me
And stay up all night
Addicted
to the good stuff
I had you drink
Two cups of coffee
And you’re saying
that you love me
And won’t put anyone
above me
Like the one’s before
Weren't worthy
Or you never knew love
or family
Family
Am I, your everything
Already?
Is it just the coffee?
Or must I tilt your cup
to see
If there is something else
In there
for me
To be
So alluring
So irresistible
So enticing
So good-looking
So sufficient
So desired
So finesse
So well dressed
So worthy
And at my best
Your cup slipped
your heart’s broken
Over two cups of coffee
Not me
