NO MORE WALLS

I need someone to march with me around this Jericho internally
A wall so high, so thick, so great that with it I can’t concentrate
On things of great importance be, so I need someone to march with me
From left to right I toss and fight, yet Jericho stands here like a blight
In way of progress it holds fast, a panoramic wall so strong, so vast

I need someone to shout with me and blow a trumpet externally
To shake that soil which willingly, fortifies Jericho- against me
Soils of envy, soils of fear, soils of foolish people prayer
Whose daily eyes, piercing and cold, wish failure on my very soul
So shout aloud with me today and move this wall that’s in my way

As I pray now at Jeri’s gate, my words and deeds I contemplate,
To change mind sets internally, so Jeri’s strength I will not see
As dust from Jeri’s fall arise, my purpose shall materialise
Hence now before it is too late, as I stand in front of this great gate
I still need someone to march with me.
