CROSSED LINES

You say
I lay my life on the line
To disrupt your day

And put myself as a shield
To bar
 your passageway

And that I do
uncommon things
To attract  your views

Or even pose
for combat photos
On headline news

But you have misaligned
this life of mine
with your outline

because a breadline
with a deadline
that is redlined
on the sideline
creating timeline

is the bottom line
of my lifeline

And you are out of line
If you feel
it’s about your time

CODED NUDITY

This naked suit I wear
In the suburbs of the city
For my life,I do not care
If you jail nor if you kill me
Without ammunition
or bullet proof
I stand in the middle
of the street
With my constituents
And those who feel
These tears of dread
I weep

This naked suit I wear
To send my message
For all to see
And without conscience
Or guilt
I decorate the streets
with filth
I scream to the top of my voice
In this deaf system’s ear
I shout,I cry and I bawl
But will anyone hear?

This naked truth I bear…

LOYAL LIP SYNCS

Your lips move
more often than
they need to
You pledge allegiance
but I know
there is no loyalty
in you
You make promises
But disappear
or grow cold
When the time comes
 to fulfill them
Open arms and gestures
Which can fool only
children
There is no loyalty in you!
You just fill up the air waves
With your voice
And fill up my ear drums
with your noise
You say
what you need to say
To seem
who you need to be
You say what I need to hear
And it’s all lip sync
Because Loyalty
isn't there in your actions
