The obstinance of faith
Erases the stupidity of fear
The madness of a wild heart
Triumphantly willing to dare
And gamble on the altar
Of dwindling pesos and hope
And the insanity of life
Which already is, a downward slope
Black jack or poker ,fasting or prayer
This lone subject will not be conquered by fear!
And this glorious ego with a point to prove
that nothing from nothing leaves nothing
Knows, that there is nothing much to lose!
But a few loaned pesos and spiraling debt
And an excellent excuse to overcome regret
And if purpose and perspective
and hope and faith remain
Plus memories of guided footsteps
And conquered darkness retained
Then fear will never, ever,ever
be the reason for restrain
Neither would good reasoning
or anything with an end in mind
That does not consider the challenges
which influenced the find
goals,objectives and curiosity
can be silenced by fear’s shout
and give unwanted precedence
to ex-tra-ordinary doubt
to fantasies,dreams and opportunities
Does fear really offer just refrain?
Or only faze the cowards
Who's good reason bows to strain?
Is not life about the journey?
Is not purpose in God’s hand?
Is not probability and possibility
Dependent on His plan
When 10% hard work, weds 90% faith
Will fairness prevail or merely
Be transformed by naysayer’s hate?
